JANUARY 2023 - "DESTOR" IS BORN
Jennifer King coins the term "DeStor" to represent the market of decentralized storage and recognizes the Filecoin Project as the de facto storage layer of Web3 as part of her hiring thesis prior to her role as Marketing Lead at Protocol Labs.
JANUARY 2024 - DESTOR SIGNS BOXFIN
Seal Storage Technology and DeStor collaborate with Boxfin Inc. on a case study exploring blockchain-based data storage for health custodial records. This partnership highlights the implementation of decentralized storage solutions for retaining and storing sensitive health data, emphasizing security, privacy, and data integrity.
FEBRUARY 2024 - DESTOR SIGNS HAUSKA.AI

Hauska.ai signs with DeStor in partnership with SteelDome Cyber to innovate the way they store large architectural files on Filecoin.

MARCH 2024 - FILSTOR, INC. FORMATION
FilStor Inc., the corporate entity behind the DeStor brand, launches as a Protocol Labs Venture Studio-backed (PLVS) venture. Co-Founders Mara McMahon & Jennifer King lead the company, bringing their vision and expertise to the forefront of the decentralized storage industry.
APRIL 2024 - AI DATA INTEGRITY COLLABORATION ANNOUNCED
Seal Storage Technology, a leading provider of blockchain-based data storage, and DeStor announce their collaboration with Cyber SMART on a pioneering AI research project, "Trustworthy Generative AI for Secure System Operation." This project, led by Cyber SMART, aims to improve AI data integrity by leveraging blockchain-based data storage to ensure an immutable, auditable record of data used in AI system design and development.
MAY 2024 - DESTOR + DECENTRALLY FROM STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP
DeStor signs strategic partnership agreement with Decentrally. This partnership allows DeStor to represent DataDrop Sync & Share and S3 solutions on the DeStor.com marketplace.
JUNE 2024 - DESTOR SIGNS S3 CLOUD CLIENT, INTUIZI

Intuizi becomes the first DeStor S3 Cloud client, storing on Filecoin with Decentrally through the DeStor.com marketplace.
